GSTF – Go Share The Fun?

with 2 comments

So what is this GSTF? Go Share The Fun? Go See The Friends? Go Shoot The Foes? Hahahaha..no..no..no..

GSTF is Go Smell The Flowers

Now, let me tell you how I got to know GSTF..

Once upon a time, in a far far away land…..ok drop it, I am not telling you a fairy tale..

It was March when I joined Blog Catalog to help to drive traffic to my sites (apparently it is working very well and I really got a lot of traffics, more than I imagined)..

Then, from there I found out about GSTF, I was attracted to it by its unique name and so I decided to have a look at it and who since then I have been visiting like almost on daily basis and soon I began to post comments here and there and today I am being awarded the Flower Smeller Badge (refer to my previous post)

To tell you about GSTF is really difficult because not only it is something too beautiful to describe but you have to be in it, to feel the magic..

Go..Smelllllllll The Flowersssss…..Toodddaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!

Iron Man – The New Superhero in Town

with 8 comments

I thought of posting about Iron Man later this month but I cannot wait any longer. I am going to talk about the new generation of superhero.

(pic source)

Iron Man – this is the latest generation of superhero. Why?

1. This is human-built superhero unlike Superman who is ‘born to be a superhero’.

2. The technology is more realistic and powerful than Batman.

3. Iron Man is an accidentally ‘normal human-turned-superhero-from-technology’ similar to Spiderman but in this case, it involves Machineries and tools, not mutation.

I like this movie partly because the hero is very handsome and cool, another part of it is because I like the technology and from here we can see how technology can destroy us when being handled by the wrong sorts of people.

The is a movie of a resemblance in this modern day. I think everyone should watch this and this is definitely one hero worth worshipping.

By the way, on the lighter side, I have a complaint. I hate to bring kids below 5 years old to the cinemas. The day I went to watch this movie, there were a pair of young parents with kids aged between 2-5 years old (3 of them) and two of the younger kids keep on talking, playing and yelling as though they were at home. I was so mad and I felt like telling them, “I don’t pay good money to listen to your kids talking loudly. I pay the money to watch the movie so please shut them up.”

Maybe I am being too harsh if I really have said that but I was really angry that time. How I wish the cinema ban kids below 5 from entering the cinema unless during cartoon movies premiere because we all sure laugh watching cartoons movies..

Ok, pissed off and watch Iron Man..hahahaha..

The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian

with 9 comments

Ok, I don’t usually do this kind of post but today, as of today on 15/5/08, it is the premiere day for The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian in Malaysia.

At 7.00pm, I was in the cinema watching The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian. I bought two tickets priced at RM9 each (i.e: total = RM18.00) and then I bought a popcorn combo consists of a large popcorn and two large drinks (RM8.50).

Picture of Prince Caspian, Narnia (from the cover of a mag) and the movie tickets’ stub.

As a complimentary for the premiere of Narnia, I get a mini cup which has the picture of Aslan.

The front view of the mini cup and the packaging.

The back view of the mini cup and the packaging.

I was overjoyed to watch the movie and to receive the complimentary limited edition Narnia mini cup collection. There are 4 designs and this is the 2nd design the give out. The 1st one was out of stock when I wanted to get it so now I only have the chance to get the other 2 for the next two weeks..I shall wait..

Narnia – Prince Caspian has a lot of improvement from the previous movie. In this movie, there is no longer Mr Tumnus or Mr Beaver but there are a whole lot of new Narnians figure such as Minotaur and Centaurs. There are mice and skunk and bear as well. It is full of diversity.

However there is a scene that reminded me of LOTR:

THe scene of the war where they fought up to Beruna and from there Aslan summoned the power of the water from the river to drown the enemies. (like when Arwen summoned the power of the water from the river to drown the Saruman’s soldiers)

Still, Narnia – Prince Caspian is the best movie for now, apart from Iron Man which I will talk about sometime later this month.

Go and watch Narnia – Prince Caspian. It is worth watching..
