It is no surprise that Batman has sent Spiderman back to his nest. Batman is taking over the world record by breaking Spider Man 3 $151.1 million, with a new record of $155.34 million. The number is expected to reach more than $200 million by next week.

Of course, again, the late Heath Ledger played a big role in making Batman into such a phenomenal movie. His death really took the world by the storm and until this day, I am feeling so sad that most celebrities died of drug overdose and other incidents that should not happen at all.

Heath Ledger bio

I finally watched Batman last night at the cinema. I was totally blown away by the whole story and the actions. It was nothing like what I has imagined before I watch it. After watching it, I feel I need a second dose but that’s ridiculous anyway, to pay another RM9 for a ticket. However, the movie itself is really an explosion of a successful Batman series.

As I expected earlier on July 9, there will be many people flocking to the theatre to watch Batman, and I was right. Last night, I watched at 6.20pm however that was not the time where the cinema was packed. When I finished the movie at 9.00pm, the next show would be on 9.30pm and the whole theatre was full of people waiting for 9.30pm Batman show. The lines were as long as a God knows what.

Needless to say, the whole Batman movie is interesting all because of The Joker (Heath Ledger). I must praise the make up artist for doing such a great job painting the face and it looked so real. Of course, as usual the Batman gadgets are cool, the cars especially..

I must say this, “Never miss the movie. Watch it in the cinema. It is worth it.”

Batman, The Dark Knight is a movie due for release on July 18 in North America, July 16 in Australia and July 17 in Malaysia. It is a very much anticipated movie because Heath Ledger plays the role of The Joker, before he died. Of course with Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne (Batman), one would never want to miss watching this movie on big screen.

Another of my favourite is Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes. Still, the X-factor that will drive me to watch this movie is to watch the last bit of Heath Ledger’s acting on big screen and even if the whole movie sucks (which I do not know yet), it is still worth a shot watching it. I doubt it will be bad anyway as Batman has always managed to captured our heart and mind with the intense story line and exciting climax.

Joker is a fictional character that portrays as a villain or some called it as supervillain because he is extremely evil. Originally published as a comic under DC Comics, he made his appearance is Batman, The Dark Knight as himself, The Joker. He is also the criminal mastermind and a violent sociopath who kills people for pleasure. Wizard magazine rated him as the greatest villain of all time.
