Hellboy 2- The Golden Army Relationships

without comments

Baby Hellboy – Is it half hellboy and half human?

It is about Hellboy 2 again and this time, I am just wondering how Hellboy (Red) can mate with supernatural human (Liz)? I just simply cannot imagine having half Hellboy and half Human as their baby (babies, in this case). I think the first story is more subtle in terms of the relationship but then in the this sequel, having babies for Hellboy is just so…weird…

In Hellboy 1 – at least we can see the normal relationship stuff such as jealousy when Liz is getting close to John Myers and how Hellboy and John Myers fall for Liz. Then of course, you get to see how Hellboy detest John while trying to pursue Liz.

In Hellboy 2 – Liz is pregnant with twins (and I thought that Hellboy is supposed to be neutered or something like that)

The Best Part of Hellboy 2

  • You get to listen to the famous oldie, Can’t Smile Without You by Barry Manilow
  • Hellboy and Abraham actually sing the song together (the best moment)
  • Both are deeply in love (Red-Liz and Abe-Nuala)
  • The appearance of Johann Krauss (he is cool and right about Hellboy being bad tempered)
  • You get to feel like watching a fairy tale movie instead of a darker side in the Hellboy 1

Hellboy 2 – The Golden Army

with 6 comments

I have never watch Hellboy before so when this movie: Hellboy 2 – The Golden Army came out on July 10 in Malaysia, I was attracted to him so last night I went to the cinema and watched it at the price of RM9/ticket.

This is definitely a movie worth watching. It is fun, even though he doesn’t seemed to be cute. There are actions and adventure and magical creatures all in one movie. I like Nuala and Nuada too, for they are so different and so white, like totally as white as any chalk.

Overall, the effects are very well done. Liz is like the woman version of “human torch”, the same as the counterpart, Fantastic Four, Johnny who is the man version of “human torch”.

It is a great movie, not to be missed definitely. Go find some time and watch it, you’ll love it..

Rating : 9/10
