James Potter And The Hall of Elders’ Crossing
Sounds familiar? Well, don’t get me wrong, as this is not a story about Harry Potter’s father but rather his son. Yes, Harry Potter’s son is named James Potter II. This fact you can find it in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows in the last chapter.
So, who is the writer of this story, James Potter And The Hall of Elders’ Crossing? Apparently, it is not JK Rowling. I would not expect her to write another sequel after all Book 7 is supposed to be the last in the series. However, this book is written by a fan, George Norman Lippert. He is not a writer but he is a computer animator. He wrote this book for his wife and sons.
The best thing about this book is that you can get it for free. You can download the book in the pdf format from his website: http://www.elderscrossing.com/
This is the first unofficial sequel to the Harry Potter series and believe it or not, a second book is on the way. It will be available on 1st of September 2008. Surprise, surprise…
I have downloaded the book and had a quick glimpse. Overall, the storyline seems interesting. It is about James Potter II attending Hogwarts for the first time and how he goes through his life in school trying to be as brave as his father and do everything his father did in order to catch up with the name, Potter after all people are expecting great things from him.
It is worth to read this although it is not from JK Rowling.
p/s: If you are too lazy to download the copy, let me know, I will send it to you. Just leave me a comment.
